INSPIRATIONAL LABS @ WEMW2025

A series of Labs for producers who want to develop new business models, explore new formats and connect with new markets. The 2025 program will be expanded to explore new themes such as AI, doc series and private investors.
Waived fee for up to 12 RE-ACT participants. The call for all WEMW Labs will open in September 2024

EURODOC ON DEMAND
Are you a producer with a documentary project in development? EURODOC On Demand is your chance to bring it to the next level!
Designed in collaboration with EURODOC, leader in training initiatives for creative documentary production, the workshop is dedicated to producers with a documentary project at any stage of development. A 5-day-long event combining group work, masterclasses, case studies and one-to-one consultations open to 12 producers who want to raise the international potential of their project and explore coproduction opportunities while also working on their skills as creative producers.
In line with the latest trends in documentary production, the workshop will delve into aspects such as crafting a compelling author’s perspective, developing a unique visual approach to unlock the story’s potential and elevating production value by integrating post-production considerations from the very beginning.
Participants will gain invaluable mentoring from seasoned industry professionals like producer Mario Adamson (Sisyfos, Sweden) and director/producer Mila Turaljic (Poppy Pictures, Serbia). Further individual consultations on budgeting and financing will be offered by Sara Laszlo (Campfilm, Hungary).
The workshop will take place from 4 to 8 November in Udine (Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy). Furthermore, participants will benefit of one year free-of-charge access to all EURODOC online initiatives as a complementary online program, featuring sessions delivered by EURODOC experts on the uses of AI, strategic planning, impact production, etc.

EURODOC On Demand is dedicated to producers from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Friuli Venezia Giulia and is made in cooperation with, and financially supported by, RE-ACT. As a result, participation is free of charge, with full board and two hotel nights covered by RE-ACT. Producers are responsible for their travel costs and the remaining hotel nights.
